This allows a much larger rev-range and works almost without friction. Unintentional brass welding of the torsion bar and thrust plate is therefore almost impossible, friction is minimised and jerky clutch operation can be prevented. This thrust plate is required for all XL2 PK clutch conversions. The thrust plate is also available in a SIP manufactured version, for all other Vespas. The bearing is located on the original thrust plate.
