Cylinder VMC EXPLORER 244cc Ø 72mm CANDELA CENTRAL KIT conversion for engines: Vespa 200 Rally/P200E/PX200 E/Lusso/'98/MY/Cosa 200 Cylinder 7 transfers in aluminium, shell moulding technology, barrel with nickel-silicon treatment Bore 72mm, Stroke 60mm, Connecting rod 126mm (Quattrini shafts) that 127mm (Sip shafts) Total displacement 244 cc, Phases Main transfers: ~ 120° Exhaust: ~ 178° Recessed head with silicone gasket Oring and 8 fixing points to the cylinder Exhaust manifold steel with silicone gasket Oring fixed to the cylinder with specific bracket and 4 screws The cylinder has a liner of approximately 8mm which allows the piston to be properly guided even when mounted in 62 and 64mm stroke The liner is of a larger outside diameter than the original cylinders and requires the crankcase inlet to be borer 76mm by 8mm deep. To carry out this work manually, a steel base/guide is supplied to screw into the crankcases. Simply carry out the work with a suitably sized cylindrical cutter and follow the instructions.
