The piston is cast in high-silicon aluminium alloy with 2 segments to guarantee maximum tightness even under extreme conditions. The head, with high turbulence, has a calculated squish band and spark plug in conventional position. The strength of this thermic unit is in the balance in terms of power output and delivery quality, which places it halfway between the basic cast-iron thermic units and the extreme competition ones. The new aluminium thermic unit kit represents a further technical and performance evolution for those who want to increase the power of their engine by using a special aluminium alloy for the cylinder that guarantees high stiffness even at the high temperatures that develop during intense use.
