Description

The Pinasco Overdrive Variator has a pulley made of high silicon aluminium, to which a sintered steel bushing is then applied. The hub is lapped and chrome-plated to improve smoothness and reliability of the coupling. By installing the Pinasco variator and using the adjustment elements supplied in the kit, you can achieve significant benefits in starting from a standstill, acceleration, pick-up and top speed. The Overslide variator is equipped with a Spring Slider axial bearing, which is placed under the contrast spring: this isolates the contrast spring from the helical opening of the torque corrector for greater reliability of the spring over time, thus maintaining its original load unaltered, and reducing the power dissipated to open the driven pulleys with obvious advantages in terms of performance.
