This right-hand exhaust system can tease out some extra horsepower from engines, leaving left-hand systems behind (and you too). But beware of the sudden avalanche of power delivery! The silencer position, which protrudes from under the gearbox, ensures an extra eye-catching look to any PX engine configuration. (More) flexible spring mounts between the exhaust manifold, expansion tank and silencer unit help absorb unwanted shocks and damage to the exhaust system. Although this exhaust can be fitted to older VESPA models such as the ECC or RALLY SPRINT, this is complicated by the design of the underside of the panel and therefore requires a small modification during fitting and a lot of patience! The impressive performance offered by the RZ One brand requires a lot of control and involvement from the rider. Maximum power delivery occurs between 5000 and 6000 rpm. The performance on/off switch can be stressful in town, but the power band is absolutely ideal for street and quarter-mile sprints :-). The ideal playground to have fun with this pipe! With the more moderately tuned, street engine set-up, fitting a shorter 4th gear has proved useful. If the set includes a professionally ported MALOSSI 210cc, a high-compression primary low-end crankshaft, an MMW reed valve manifold and a decent carburettor of at least 32mm, the RZ pipe can easily cope with higher gear ratios to offer a higher top speed. The "RZ Mark One" is also ideal in combination with the POLINI 208cc, with its lower power delivery in the rev range and more moderate port timing, thus avoiding too rapid revving and higher revs. JL warranty: Included with every SIP Performance expansion chamber is an automatic JL warranty for all original purchasers. If your exhaust breaks at any time during normal use (apart from grinding along the kerb), it will be repaired or replaced.
