Engine casing shims kit for Vespa Smallframe The shims are used to align the gearbox more precisely or to eliminate any play. ONLY THE NECESSARY SHIMS SHOULD BE FITTED, NOT NECESSARILY ALL THOSE IN THE KIT. The kit consists of: - 4 shims, thickness 0.10 mm, external diameter 47 mm, for main bearings, bell bearing, wheel axle bearing. - 4 shims, thickness 0.10 mm, internal diameter 10 mm, to shim the gearbox towards the clutch - 3 shims, thickness 0.10 mm, internal diameter 25 mm, to be used as shims between the bell bearing, the bell and its seeger - 3 shims, thickness 0.30 mm, external diameter 14.98 mm, to be used as shims between the starter selector pin and the crankcase. On some crankcases and with some aftermarket starter selectors, these shims are necessary to keep the starter gear at the correct distance from the cluster
