To ensure sufficient electronics could also be packed in this particular models version of our own counter Speedometer SIP / Rev we have also devised an alternative to factory speedometer drive system OE. The fragile original cable is simply replaced with our new speed sensor system. This speed sensor is also fully compatible for use with all other Smallframe Vespa models for which we have a speedometer available. This item is automatically included SIP units speedometer / rev ordered for use with 50 V Vespa models with round headlights. This speed sensor is simply positioned along the steering column in place of the original speedometer and receives the signal from the speedometer gear, located in the front axle. The waterproof cable is connected to the sensor. It must be pulled through the steering column and attached to the speedometer. The advantages of the new system is a more accurate measurement of the actual speed and see you stop constantly taking unit speedometer cables! The sensor is also availabe for Vintage Vespas.
