Complete Over Range Variator Malossi PIAGGIO MOPEDS

Description

The upgrading of the Big Deps engine and the Malossi engine casing has caused a deficit in the transmission of this vehicle. To overcome this, Malossi's highly experienced technicians have designed a complete Over Range, suitable for supporting constantly increasing performance. This new system is based on the new Fixed Pulley torque corrector, which has a larger diameter and cutting-edge technological features. It is precisely the larger diameter of the pulley that allows for a significantly higher transmission ratio than the original pulley with its significantly smaller external diameter. Malossi engineers have taken care of every detail in the construction of this pulley, using special materials and a special type of thermochemical treatment, which gives it extremely high wear resistance and equally high mechanical strength. The new fixed pulley has been designed to ensure perfect operation when coupled with the Malossi torque corrector (Torque Driver), which has the same diameter. To take full advantage of the range of the new torque corrector unit and the power developed by today's competition vehicles, a new Malossi Special Belt has been designed with a larger section and updated length to ensure maximum performance in all conditions of use. To completely revamp the transmission system and take full advantage of its exceptional technical characteristics, the Multivar MHR variator has also been updated with new roller tracks, a new counter spring and a new hub that is longer than the previous one and can therefore be combined with a more powerful belt to optimise the ratios. This new variator is the evolution of previous generations: born from many years of experience gained on the race track and from the Cad-Cam technology available today, it allows for technical results at the highest levels. The complete OVER RANGE system also includes the Fly Clutch and the reinforced Malossi Wing Clutch Bell Ø 107.
