The CNC-milled MMW manifolds have a very smooth, flow-optimised surface and can be operated with both the conventional RD350 and the new TASSINARI reed valve. Only minor modifications to the connection piece are required for the TASSINARI reed valve. The MMW intake manifold is available in two versions. Similar to the MBD intake manifold, the basic MMW 1 version has an oblique reed valve (45°). By extending the intake duct (spacer included in delivery), the engines are supported and achieve more torque through the shift in the useful rev range. The larger intake diameter also allows for a higher flow rate. In combination with the aerodynamic design, this ensures maximum filling. In the optimised MMW 2 version, the intake cross-section has been further enlarged and the position of the reed valve has been changed so that it is now positioned at an angle of 70° longitudinally to the motor shaft. Both versions of the intake manifold are supplied with a suitable aluminium connection piece and a set of screws. The connecting pieces and the seals and screws required for installation are also available individually. The original mounting points are retained during installation.
