7-port aluminium cylinder, shell moulding technology, Nikasil-coated cylinder liner Bore diameter 60 mm Stroke 51 mm Displacement 144 cc, EXHAUST LIGHT WITH BOOSTERS Main porting angles 128° Exhaust 188°, exhaust stud centre distance 60 mm, oval exhaust outlet diameter 32 mm. The exhaust can be slightly filed down to 36 mm to fit our Evo SeiDue and Kifly 62 silencers. Piston with 2 Rik steel rings, complete with pin and retainers. Die-cast aluminium head with SIDE spark plug with 4 additional fixing screws. Squish 1.1mm ± 0.1mm. M7 captive nut tightening torque: 11÷12 Nm, M6 screw tightening torque 10÷11 Nm Complete with bolts and cylinder gaskets in various thicknesses. This cylinder is suitable for extreme tuning. When fitted with a VMC Evo 62, it requires a close-ratio gearbox and more generous expansion exhausts such as the VMC Kifly 62 to achieve power in the region of 30hp. When fitted with the Vmc Siluro Sport, the cylinder is transformed into a fast touring engine with generous torque from low revs and excellent top-end performance. Warning: To be mounted on a Piaggio crankcase, the half-moon on the crankcase base must be removed and the cylinder inlet on the crankcase must be drilled to a diameter of 64 mm and a depth of approximately 8 mm to allow the cylinder liner to fit into the crankcase. THIS CAN BE DONE WITH A MANUAL MILLING CUTTER USING THE STEEL GUIDE SUPPLIED WITH THE KIT, SCREWING IT INTO THE CYLINDER CAPTIVE SCREW HOLES. New model of aluminium head made in Italy using CNC machining, steel segments, steel pin, steel stops, squish 1.5 mm ±0.1 mm. Nut tightening torque 11÷12 Nm, screw tightening torque 10÷11 Nm, paper/aluminium cylinder gaskets. Road use is prohibited.
