Petrol tap -BGM PRO Faster Flow V2.0 TAP WITH RESERVE Description Fast Flow petrol taps have a high flow rate and guarantee a perfect fuel supply to the carburettor, even for powerful engines. They can also be used as a perfect replacement for the original fuel tap. The fuel tap is available in the following versions: TYPE WITH RESERVE POSITION The version with reserve position corresponds to the functionality of a conventional fuel tap (open/reserve/closed). When the reserve level is reached, the lever is manually set to reserve. However, the advantage of this type of tap is that the reserve capacity is approximately one litre greater than that of the original fuel tap. TYPE WITH ELECTRONIC RESERVE INDICATOR The version with electronic reserve indicator is available for both Vespa and Lambretta. This tap shows the reserve level in the tank via an indicator light, as in cars. As this fuel tap does not have a reserve position (only open/closed positions), the reserve position is not clearly set manually while driving. This provides additional safety, as the fuel flow is always constant. The LED for the reserve light can be mounted on the handlebar, for example. SPECIAL TYPE FOR LAMBRETTA WITH 90° CONNECTION Fast Flow fuel tap with fuel pipe connection facing towards the rear, i.e. rotated by 90°. PLEASE NOTE The float is not suitable for fuels with a high alcohol content. Therefore, please do not use with E10/E85 fuel. ELECTRONIC RESERVE LIGHT CONNECTION BLUE CABLE The blue cable is the ground connection, which is also connected to the metal body of the fuel tap. If mounted on vehicles where the tank is connected to the frame (Vespa), the blue cable is automatically connected to the frame ground. ORANGE CABLE The orange cable from the fuel tap must first be connected to the reserve light and then to the power source, which must be connected to the same ground as the fuel tap (vehicle chassis). TIP As an alternative to connecting the cables individually with an LED light, we also offer an adapter plug for SIP/Koso speedometers (see accessories). This connects the reserve light integrated in the speedometer directly to the speedometer wiring. All you need to do is connect the adapter.
