Description
The new reinforced wheel axle for Vespa smallframe engines is made of high-strength steel and vacuum case hardened. The material used and the new dimensions make the shaft particularly suitable for tuned engines or engines with larger than standard displacement (even up to 250 cc). Today, thanks to recent investments by some manufacturers, it is possible to find a wide range of very powerful thermal units on the market that exceed even 40 horsepower. Remember that the Vespa smallframe engine was designed to last and its power rarely exceeded 10 horsepower. With these increases in power, it is essential to adapt all the moving parts to prevent breakage and premature wear. Example of fatigue failure: Small axle 8 Example of the new dimensions.
