The Malossi technical department has therefore developed a new reinforced clutch bell, capable of better managing all power and rev ranges. In tuned engines, due to the high number of revs, the outer fins of the basket can open, causing it to fail. To overcome this problem, the new POWER UP CLUTCH BASKET features a reinforcement ring welded to the outside of the basket to prevent it from opening. The sprocket is riveted to the basket with 16 rivets, allowing up to 16 clutch springs to be fitted, enabling the entire clutch to handle much higher torque and power than the standard clutch was designed for. To complete this component, which is designed for all Vespas, from those tuned for a little more spirit to those purely for racing, the bell has 8 holes that make it lighter and reduce the inertia of the clutch discs.
