Description
Piston -BGM PRO- Vespa PX125, PX150, Sprint Veloce - as conversion piston for Polini177 cylinders (cast iron) Reinforced BGM piston with Ø63.5mm for Polini 177 and DR 177cc tuning cylinders (suitable for Vespa PX125 / PX150 and Sprint Veloce engines). Diameter Ø = 63.5mm Recommended stroke clearance: 7 / 100mm 18% silicon content for increased wear and tear resistance 1mm thick piston rings Optimised passage in the overcurrent range The BGM PRO piston has an 18% silicon content. This means it has less thermal expansion than pistons normally used in tuning cylinders. This makes the piston not only more resistant to wear but also much more thermally stable. In addition, the piston has two very stable piston rings with a thickness of 1 mm. This increases performance thanks to reduced friction and eliminates susceptibility to breakage due to the material used for the piston rings. The stable piston rings allow for a wider exhaust window without the risk of ring breakage. The generously recessed area in the overcurrent zone helps the engine process more mixture. In combination with the thinner rings and shorter piston skirt, the engine becomes much more agile and durable. Compression height: 35mm (original Polini / DR 35mm)Feedback
