MAGGIORATO VMC TANK FOR VESPA SMALLFRAME: The tank is made of oil and solvent resistant plastic with a total capacity of approximately 7 litres. FAST FLOW tap with enlarged passages to feed even the thirstiest carburettors. To ensure maximum reliability and correct operation of the VMC enlarged tank, it is necessary to carry out a trial assembly to make sure that once fixed, the tank does not interfere with any parts of the frame or internal components such as the carburettor control sheaths, wires or various components of the electrical system. The top plate must be secured to the tank with the bolts and washers provided after applying a drop of threadlocker to each bolt. This operation should only be carried out just before final assembly and after checking that nothing is preventing correct assembly. The top plate is powder coated at high temperature. DO NOT CLEAN THE TOP PLATE WITH ALCOHOL! It is advisable to fit a quick release on the fuel pipe between the carburettor and the tap.
