The waterproof cable is connected to the sensor. It must be pulled through the steering column and attached to the speedometer. The advantages of the new system are a more accurate measurement of the actual speed and no more constantly snapping cables from the speedometer unit! Conclusion: An excellent complementary accessory for the already highly regarded SIP speedometer/rev counter unit!
