VMC brackets for securing a tank/bag to the Vespa footboard

Pair of VMC brackets for securing a tank, bag or other items to the central footboard of the Vespa. The brackets are made of laser-cut stainless steel. They both have a central hole through which a strap, rope or elastic bands can be passed to secure a wide variety of objects to the Vespa footboard. The right bracket has a small protrusion that serves as a support for the heel of the right foot, making it easier to operate the rear brake. As all Vespa riders know, when braking, the right foot is always resting on the central tunnel. With a tank or other object fixed to the central footboard, there is no space to rest the heel and it becomes difficult to operate the brake pedal. The VMC brackets solve this problem without significantly reducing the foot space on the footboard. To install, simply remove the bolts and nuts that secure the stand supports to the frame and fix the VMC brackets to the same mounting holes. If the original bolts are too short, replace them with 4 x 20 mm M6 bolts.
